The problem

Since weight stacks were introduced in the 1970s, most fitness equipment has barely evolved. People train against gravity using steel plates.

That kind of training is time-consuming and inefficient.

Solution

Our approach

We at Akrodyn set out to change that. We developed electric weights that use an electric motor and complex software to change the applied force precisely at every angle and adjust the load accordingly.
This protects the person training and makes reliable training results achievable.
For integration into an innovative training machine, we won Nautilus as a partner.

Launching the electric machines will further strengthen Nautilus's position in the market segment and increase profitability.
