Specialised across six areas
Servo motor control
Field-oriented control with near-dead-beat behaviour and current loop rates up to 50 kHz. Sensorless operation down to 0 Hz including starting under load, MTPA for maximum torque per amp, and field weakening for high-speed ranges.
DC/AC inverters
Power stages built on IGBT, SiC, MOSFET and GaN topologies for industrial use. From device selection and gate driver design through switching loss and thermal optimisation to a robust commutation loop layout.
Brake choppers
Chopper solutions developed in-house up to 100 kW and 999 V, fully customised on request. Switching stage, braking resistor and cooling sized against the real duty cycle – including DC-link and energy management.
Safety
TÜV-certified drive safety to PL e and IEC 61508 SIL 3. Supported end to end: safety concept, FMEA and FMEDA, architecture and diagnostics, verification through to an approved, certified series product.
EMC
Compliance with EN 61800-3 C2/C3 is planned in from the start: filter design, layout, shielding and grounding concept, and pre-compliance measurements along the way – instead of expensive rework shortly before release.
Cybersecurity / CRA
Security by design to the Cyber Resilience Act and IEC 62443: threat analysis, secure boot, signed firmware updates, hardened interfaces, SBOM and vulnerability management across the entire product lifecycle.

Dead-beat control and safety up to PLe
Our specialty is developing custom servo drives with a high current bandwidth of up to 6 kHz at a control frequency of 50 kHz - close to dead-beat control, since errors can be corrected in fewer than 3 control cycles. That results in a position bandwidth of up to 800 Hz.
Sensorless operation is possible down to a standstill of 0 Hz, which cuts cost, improves reliability and increases efficiency. Since our customers often work in safety-critical applications, we offer safety functions up to PLe.

CNC precision machining from Altstätten SG: milling and turning from prototype to series, plus assembly and metrology. Including special materials such as MACOR glass ceramic.
Product development in Uster ZH, where industrial design, mechanics and optics meet. Developed to ISO 13485 where medical technology is involved.
Structural analysis and strength verification from Nänikon ZH, with certification experience from aerospace. For parts that must not only hold, but prove it.
Control cabinet building from Steinmaur ZH — and our fitter when a job needs hands in the field. His speciality is tanning salon technology.
