Traditional strip readers for ID documents regularly fail at the first attempt or overwhelm users. The Akrodyn Universal ID & Passport Reader solves this problem: a camera-based AI recognises travel documents (ICAO TD-1, TD-2, TD-3), reads the machine-readable zone (MRZ) and additionally supports QR code-based Swiss driver's licences. As a USB HID device, it integrates without driver effort.
