110 kg pulling force, 8 training modes, 20 000 Hz control rate: the InSync Strength platform turns strength equipment into programmable performance measurement machines.
Conventional strength equipment with weight stacks always delivers the same force characteristic: steady, conservative, not configurable. The Akrodyn InSync Strength platform replaces the weight stack with a digitally controlled linear drive that controls force, speed and position 20 000 times per second. This enables eccentric overload, isokinetic training, plyometric impulses and artificial inertia simulation on one and the same device, reproducibly and with data capture.
Training Modes
- Isoload: Constant force, independent of movement speed, for clean isolation exercises
- Eccentric: Eccentric overload with higher resistance in the braking phase for maximum strength gains
- Viscous: Force proportional to speed, ideal for endurance and low-impact training
- Isokinetic: Constant movement speed for performance measurement and diagnostic training
- Puls: High-frequency force pulses for neuromuscular activation and isometric training
- Plyometric: Balance-oriented training characteristic for reactive strength and stability
- Elastic: Force proportional to cable deflection, simulates resistance band
- Inertia: Artificial inertia mass for training with the feel of a real weight stack
System Architecture
The platform is based on an Akrodyn X-Series motor controller, brake chopper, power resistor and an electric motor of the customer's choice. The eWeight module integrates all electronics and drive components compactly and can be integrated into almost any force-generating fitness device.
