Electric drives that brake, reverse or operate under varying loads feed energy back into the DC bus. Without a controlled dissipation path, this regenerative energy causes overvoltages, damaged power electronics and unplanned system shutdowns. The BC-5600-410-30R00 actively switches an external power resistor as soon as the DC bus exceeds the configured threshold: stable, safe and repeatable.
